Power Supply Issue w/GeForce

Last year when I picked up a CL Ann-Pro, several of my games had the flashing triangles problem. After reading some of the posts on a newsgroup I went out and replaced my 250w ps for a 300w ps, problem solved.

This week I added an HP CDRW to my system and the flashing triangles are back. Since the popularity of the CDRW's is booming does this mean that those of you who have add one to your system have had to increase your power supply as well?

Spec:
P3-450 w/SE440BX-2 & 384MB RAM
Win 2000 w/SP1
CLAP w/Dtnr3 6.62
Anatech 300w PS
2 Additional case fans
SB Live Value
50x CD-ROM
HP CDRW
1 PCI Ethernet card(for cable modem)

You don't even need that 300w to run tour system. I've got a 1010mhz duron at 1.9v with a CD-burner,cdrom,ATA-100 HD, GeForce MX, and SB live all on a 250w power supply. Save your money a 300w is more than enough.

you shouldn't need more power. things should be fine the way they are with your system. is there anything else that could be drawing power away from your system? also is your power (in your house) okay? some people have "dirty" power. it's not consistent or operating at the proper voltage, amperage...

See if you have a monitoring system like Hardware Doctor, and use it to check your 3.3v exact measurement. As voltage drops, some devices try to pull more amperage to maintain the same wattage, and this in turn, lowers the voltage more.
My $.02. Take-Out PS: the 300 watt PS should be more than enough for your system. Even though the P3-450 draws more than the Flip-Chips do.
