Question power supply question

That isn't a particularly good unit anyhow.

The EARLY multi-rail Rosewill 850W PFC PSUs were good, though.

I gutted one to make a quick bench power supply for the garage, when I moved my lab power supply into the house.....still going strong, and over 10 years-old, now.

Go with one of the Corsair HM-series PSUs and you'll be happy.

Seasonic Focus Gold 650w

More expensive by like $25 depending on where you look, but the Seasonic is more efficient and the quality is much better than Rosewell, I can guarantee that. Seasonic has 7 yr warranty.

Might I add that ARC is a bad name for a power supply.

I mean arcs generally cause bad things, burning, fire, etc. Why would you want to associate your power supply with a fire starter?

I agree Corsair makes some great HXI and RMX psus that would work amazingly aswell.

They aren't terrible, not good. Not nearly as good as the HX or Seasonic Focus.

im currently using a evga 600w certified non modular psu.

full specs are, ryzen 1700x cpu, gtx 1070 video card, 32gb of ddr4 3000mhz corsair vengeance pro rgb ram, asus prime b40m motherboard, corsair h100i v2 liquid cooler. 250gb m.2 nvme ssd drive, two 1 tb 7200 rpm hard drives.

550W is plenty for those specs, but if there isn't much a price difference to go to 650W it certainly wouldn't hurt.

650W is enough for nearly any single GPU system you could build today, and CPUs and GPUs aren't really getting any more power hungry so I don't see much need in getting a higher capacity for the sake of future proofing. But if you really want to get a 750+W PSU there's nothing wrong with that other than it'll cost more.
