is this a good power supply https://www.newegg.com/rosewill-pho...111419-Index-_-PowerSupplies-_-17182320-S1A5C or is it garbage?? im debating on buying it or passing on it.
did you see the sale price?it's not garbage, but imo not worth it, as it's a double forward single rail psu made by sifra

i mean... if you actually need the wattage, you can probably afford something betterok so still not worth buying then?
ok thanks, ill pass on it.i mean... if you actually need the wattage, you can probably afford something better
and double forward is pretty likely to start whining on higher end gpus (1070+, vega, 2070+ and such), so i'd rather grab a good 550/650 for the price
not that that says much... look at every single seasonic psu for example, including prime40c isnt ideal for a gold unit either concidering a $45 corsair cx bronze has the same temp rating of 40c.

yes, which is straight up misleading, because it's 100% that counts, not 80%Seasonic tends to underrate the temperature performance of their PSU's, usually rating them at 50c up to 80% load.
yes, which is straight up misleading, because it's 100% that counts, not 80%
then again, this only counts for seasonic sold psus, as oem it's generally a different story
so what do you think buy it or pass? You literally just make my point for me, and it went right over your head.
