Hi, I am doing gaming pc build:

but in order to save money I have already an aerocool psu that is working good.

My question can I just use my old psu and go with it; or i should get new PSU, although I am not going for OCing.

Not sure if you have heard of Riotoro (ex corsair/seasonic guys)? I picked up a Gold 850Watt PSU here in the UK for under £100 - https://www.kitguru.net/components/power-supplies/zardon/riotoro-enigma-850w-g2-power-supply-review/ . I've had it for 4 months now, it's been great. They offer a 10 Year warranty also. Should be enough for your needs and then some.

It is true that PSUs do fail from time to time. But, while it is working, it is working. Your new machine will be powered perfectly by your existing PSU. I suggest keep using that old PSU.

If you intend keeping your old components for a spare PC, then maybe buy a new PSU and case, so you will have 2 complete PCs.

For your needs, yes probably, there are cheaper 650/750 watt versions fully modular options, again, all gold rated but with 5 year warranties instead of 10. What I'd bear in mind is that you want the most for your budget (highest efficiency rating is the minimum). I looked at it this way, that 10 years (warranty period) is a long time in which you may upgrade your GPU/CPU/System again once or twice - for which the power requirements might increase (just look at the new higher end RTX card requirements for example!).Just because die sizes are shrinking on GPUs/CPUS doesn't mean that there going to be clocked any less and require any less power. At least this way you are covered for a significant period off time, and it's one less thing you don't have to budget for when you want to upgrade.
