I've had my PC for a few months now and it's always had something vibrating which I have figured out is the power supply, it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the PC but it does get annoying, especially when trying to record audio, any tips of what could be causing the issue and what to do, I've seen a few people say to use rubber fan gaskets but I'm unsure.

Powersupply= Corsair CX

If you are certain that it is the power supply take a closer look at the physical installation.

Power down, and unplug the PC.

Open the case and inspect in and around the PSU. Look for debris in the fan, look anything touching the PSU that could vibrate with the fans.

Check the screws holding the PSU. They should be evenly snug and not too tight. Likewise for the fan as applicable.

Use a bright flashlight to look inside the PSU as best you can. Do not open the PSU - just look to see if there is some loose component or other debris actually inside the PSU.

Overtime, heating and cooling loosen up computer components. Check that all components, cables, jumpers, etc. are fully and firmly in place. Gently tighten screws as applicable.

If the PSU is vibrating/moving then a small piece of non-conductive material may work as a wedge to reduce or stop the vibration.

You may have to use a bit of trial and error to discover where the "wedge" is needed or most effective.

I would assume it is the 750CX or something, because i had two of these before and they killed my graphic card once the second time it didnt kill anything thankfully, but then i stopped buying corsair power supplies, and i have an evga g2 supernova 650w 80+ gold, if i were him, i would buy that power supply over any of the corsair low tier power supplies, its cheap and also great quality.
Mine were also vibrating from time to time, also it kept making this weird buzzing noise even if the PC is powered off it still makes that noise. Never trusted corsair power supplies after that.

AX series is more expensive than the CX series, thats the problem.
You should be expecting a good quality from a corsair CX 750 series though, but not anymore, maybe he cant buy an AX series power supply, thats why i suggested the G2 supernova, its been working perfectly fine for like 2 an half years so far, and am more than happy with it.
