Power Supply Watt

Hi I would like to know the watt of my psu. at the sticker on the side it says :
MIN- 450W
MAX- 550W
can my psu run PALiT GTX 760 Jetstream 2GB on my PSU or do I have to upgrade?

550W is enough. But can you find a maker name and model number?

We need to confirm:
-it puts out 30A on the +12v rail
-it has two 6pin pci-e connectors

Honestly, I wouldn't trust that PSU to power a high end graphics card like the 760. It is considered a tier 5 PSU. When you stress a tier 5 psu and it dies, it tends to take other parts with it when it goes.

Tier five - Replace immediately. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit

but can I use it for a month or two? I'm gonna save before buying a new psu cause I already bought the 760 but I'm not yet putting it in.

It is rated at 450 Watts. It is a tier 5 (bad) power supply. I would replace it when you upgrade.

The danger is, cheap PSUs don't have any type of protection built in, and when you stress a cheap PSU and it dies, there is a high chance it will take other parts with it. If you connect a 760 to that psu, it may fry it, or some other parts in your system.

So you can try it and gamble. I'd hate for it to damage your system though.

It will be very bad for the GTX 760. Just don't put in the GTX 760 till you get a new power supply.
