Im replacing my old PSU which was 500w, and now im putting in a 700w PSU. I've done the paperclip test on both power supplies and they both work. I've plugged everything in but i still have no luck. What am I doing wrong? When i plug the power in, and turn it from "O" to "I" nothing happens. Please help im a noob with hardware.

This may sound stupid, but did you hit the power button on the front of the case? The "0/1" switch on the PSU itself only governs whether it will provide power to the equipment itself, but actually turning on the PC still requires pressing the case's power button.

I've found that when taking out my older power supply I accidently unplugged 4 small cables connecting to the motherboard. They all seem to connect to the same spot, but they are separate cables, of different color, and seem to take up 2 pins per cable. I reconnected them, and plugged in the power. I switched the O/I and pushed the front power button and everything seemed to work! Thanks for the suggestions.
