So I want to upgrade to SLI GTX 970 but I'm not sure if I can get away with it with a 600W power supply since I've got the EVGA model that is more power efficient.

Specs
CPU: i5 4690k @4.7 GHZ
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0
Motherboard: MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 GAMING
Hard Drive: 3.5 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair 600W

So do you guys think I can be cheeky and pull off another 970 or naw?

Thank in advance to everyone who replies!

Solution
Id say not recommended, recommended is 750w but if its a high quality PSU you might get away with it. Which model PSU is it, they do some crap ones and some good ones.

Have you considered selling the 970 and getting a 980Ti? None of the downside of Sli and works with all games and extra VRAM

Solution
I would get a 980ti, but it so happens that the TI is another $700, and an easy sell on a 970 would make me about $250, and I have a Best Buy Store Credit card with $200 on it that I would like to spend, and it will overall just be more convenient to get an SLI configuration over selling used parts and paying extra since I am on a tight budget considering I can get a 970 from Best Buy for $315
