ok so i got a powera gamepad saying that it will work for ps3 so i figured it would work for my pc.

i have tried everything i can find ds3tool scp tool the disable sighniture but nothing is working if i go to my deviceses and printers it comes up as opp and it shows that it functions and i can use it in the psx emulators but i cant play my pc games with it like borderlands or any other game that has full controller support.

it just doesnt detect it exept enter the gungoun but that says unknown controller and it doesnt let me use anything exept the anolog sticks and anything else it just acts like its not there.

This is a brand new ps3 third party controller that acts just like a ps3 controller on a ps3 and it is detected on my desktop but nothing is wanting to use it and acts like its not there can i get help with this please

this controller doesn't have a usb cable port its just a wireless usb ps3 third party controller and as stated above I have tried the scp tool and the ds3 tool but none of this seems to work

Please refer to the community guidelines when posting questions like this.

The chances of getting help if you use no punctuation and write in single block of broken English are very slim.

From what I managed to gather;

- You bought a third party PS3 controller to use with your Windows PC
- The controller is detected by the system, but fails to detected in games.

Please unplug the controller and uninstall everything you have downloaded/installed for it so far.

After that, follow the instructions in this article and see if it works: http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/how-to-connect-a-ps3-controller-to-a-pc/

Connect the powera mini ps3 controller to your usb 2.0 ports of your computer, make sure you do not connect it to a Usb 3.0,or 3.1 spec port of your pc it has to be a usb 2.0 spec port.

Click on start.

And in the search box of windows for files, folders, or programs to open or run.

Type : USB
Click on setup usb controllers.
Hi light the usb controler you see in the main window that opens.
Click on the properties tab.

In the next window that opens click on the setting tab at the top of the new window.

Select Calibrate.
And follow the instructions on screen to calibrate the usb powera controller.

Once done click on apply or ok.
test all of the axis of the left and right analog sticks and also the Dpad and other buttons of the controler.

Once done click ok.

Your PowerA PS3 gamepad is now fully calibrated and will work in windows, and with windows pc games.

I tried this but it doesn't seem to detect the controller at all in-game except in enter the gungeon and all that detects is the analogs but the pc detects all the buttons pressed and shows that its functioning 100% but its just not being detected by the games themselves and the pc registers the controller as opp
its a usb wireless controller with no usb cable connection and it is plugged into a usb 2.0

I have tried motionjoy but it doesnt detect my gamepads and when i try to use scp ps3 tool it just renders the controller useless

That doesn't work and the controller does not have a usb cable port to plug into it; its completely wireless and the SCP tool which is what that is makes this controller nonfunctional
Sir I don't mean to be rude but i was with a friend it was late and punctuation was the last thing on my mind when i posted this thread and I don't mean to be upset you but your statement about me getting help is slim just because of punctuation is false I have been posting threads asking for help on many things for years and I have seen that there is very little change between using punctuation and not using it sure its important but honestly its almost a wast of effort when in a forums

ok so i found out how to make it work so get the Hackedgamepad by sarathgamer open it up and then plug in the usb and make sure it works properly which it should do automaticly or you can manually do now go to options check all of the xinput boxes then go back to the main controller where you made sure you had the gamepad working right click save and now go into the hacked gamepad folder and copy everything exept the hacked gampad by serathgamer aplication and past the other things into the folder that holds the games launcher and if it was done right when you start up your game it should make a noise when it starts up thats how you know it worked but it doesnt work for every game but does work for alot of them
