POWERCOLOR 9600 XT

hello friends!!the other day i bought a powercolor 9600 xt 256 mb.i´m planning on overclocking and considering stock speeds go for 500/600 cpu/mem.i don´t know why,but in doom 3, i can´t overclock much,i get artifacts.this don´t happen to me in any of the benchmarks i´ve had running for hours,so i think there is some thing wrong with doom 3. i´ve reached 550 cpu and 700 mem with no artifacts (mem made by samsung).the question is: i want to clock more the cpu.which cooler should i install??give me trademarks and models.

I recall Doom3 reviews reporting that it stressed the video card in different ways, such that it may cause artifacts and instabilities in o/c'd hardware even if its stable/no artifacts in other games.

Don't know about gpu coolers myself, I don't o/c my gpu.
