Powered vs passive usb hubs HELP

I currently am trying to use a Anker Ultra Slim 4-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub to connect all of my gaming peripherals. I am experiencing issues with stuttering on the mouse and headphones while in-game.

Will a powered hub solve my problem? If so can you suggest good powered hubs to buy in a similar price range?

What i'm trying to connect:
-Razer Mamba
-Razer Ornata
-Razer Man O' War Wireless 😉

All ports in a USB hub share data thru one USB port in the computer, so you may be overloading it.
