I need some help, yesterday afternoon my Ethernet adaptors were working perfectly fine but I woke up this morning and now my PC seems to be messing up to a point where I can't connect to the internet and programs like steam, discord and battle.net won't even open. I have no idea why this has happened overnight but I have checked the adaptors and modem themselves and they appeared to be working fine but clearly not. And when I run the windows network diagnostics troubleshooter is comes up with the message ""Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration"
I have tried

1.using the command "ipconfig/flushdns"
2.using the command "netsh int IP reset" and restarting my PC
3. The usual turn router on and off and unplug cables from both side
4.restwrting my PC
5. Taking out my old wifi adaptor
6.attempting to get my modem setting up but browser is refusing to let me open anything at all

No valid IP address means the DHCP server in your router, or elsewhere did not hand out an IP. Try connecting using an Ethernet cable directly to the router from the PC. This is only to isolate the problem. Need to eliminate the parts that work. If you can connect via the ethernet then it's either the adapters or the WiFi. But you need to verify that the modem/router is not the cause first.

under network settings make sure no one changed your ip to a fixed ip and not letting windows find an ip info. from another pc download anti virus resque disk. make a usb stick and boot from it see if your pc got infected. also check to see if the new windows fall creeator update go you. if there was a update may want to roll it back.

have you tried the obvious thing unplug both devices from the wall and plug them back into the wall to reset the powerline device?
why? I have a number of theses from various brands and found that under some circumstances, the signal gets a) lost into the main breaker box of your house b) device seeing no traffic tries to save power and goes to sleep and when going back up doesn't reconnect properly.
I stopped using them in the end I use a wifi extender instead now, and plug my pc into it, never has failed.

I'm unable to plug my PC directly into the router but I don't think the router itself is broken seeing how every other device in the house can connect to the wifi perfectly fine.

Also my PC isn't infected either cause I was somehow able to get the internet working for a couple of hours before it killed itself again

OK, thanks for adding that tidbit. So you are connecting wireless, and you still don;t get an ip address, are these other computers connecting wireless through the power line adapters?

no im connected to the modem through powerline adaptors but wireless seems to be working fien on everything else, although i just moved my pc near my router adn plugged it in directly and now its working fine again.
all the lgihts on the adaptors themselves all seemto be in working order and on the surface they look fine so idk what could be causing this problem
