Powerline AV1200 vs AV1000

Hello,
I know this may sound foolish but,
I´m new in the PC world and I chose to buy a powerline for my first pc instead of a wifi card
So..the TP-Link AV1200´s (TL-PA8010P KIT) price sky rocketed and I may have found a good deal on the TP-Link AV1000 (TL-PA7020P KIT)
So I wanted to know, which of these two powerlines (with passthrough) should I buy, and is there a big difference while gaming?

The TPLink pages say they are both AV2 standard compliant. I think you can probably get at least 100Mbit throughput with decent home wiring with either of these.

Do you think the AV1000 is also a good option? Or should I open my wallet for the AV1200?

Since performance is dependent on the home wiring. It is difficult to predict if there is ANY difference. If you can get the 1000 cheaper, I would get them. They have an extra ethernet port on each adapter. That could remove the need for a switch in one place or the other.
