Powerpoint picture scrolling

Does anyone know how to scroll a panoramic picture wider
than the Powerpoint slide across a slide in a
presentation? I have seen it done but don't have access
to the person to ask. The panorama scrolls from the side
starting with a blank screen and exits the opposite side.
Sometime the panorama scrolled over another picture,
displacing it. Any help would be really appreciated.
