PPPoE over WIFI?

Solution
You want the device hooked to the modem to run in AP mode. If you were to use a external "client-bridge" on the PC side I suspect you could then run pppoe over that with a standard config. Configuring PPPoE on a actual wireless nic I am not sure how your would do.
It technically can be done but how you would configure this in windows I have no idea. I have only done it with a commercial router connecting to a wireless device running in AP mode.

This was done in the days before wpa came out because WEP was so insecure.

Not sure why you would need to do this. WPA pretty much does all the function ppp does. If your goal is to build a tunnel PPTP is a form of ppp that will work over almost any type of connection.

Thanks.
I haven't clearly said what I want to do...
I have a Fiber modem connected to ISP, the modem is in bridge mode, so if I connect a router or computer to the modem, I should setup a PPPoE client to associate with the ISP.
Now I want to connect to this modem wirelessly, the common way is to connected a wireless router to the modem, let the router dial up, and just use any wireless client to the router.
But I don't want that way, I want the router/computer to connect to the modem wirelessly, then associate PPPOE on the router side, is that possible? Do I need a device to work in pure AP mode, or a pair or wireless bridge if that works?
