[SOLVED] Premiere using 100% CPU and only 25% Ram

I'm using the Razer Blade Pro 17 with 64 gig of Ram installed, and when exporting in premiere or just scrubbing through the timeline, the ram never jumps up higher than 20gb, while the CPU is running at almost a sustained 100%. What can be done to optimize the computer to use the ram more efficiently and take the full load off the CPU?

An application will use as much RAM as it needs. No more, no less.

Premier Pro has a memory config option that allows you to reserve RAM for other applications. It is also possible (based on this webpage) that you have a stale memory config -- https://www.digitalrebellion.com/blog/posts/premiere_pro_memory_settings_explained If you added RAM after your initial config.
