They're obviously aware that numerous entities speak out against pre-ordering. This smells like desperation.

Let's see when review copies are out and when NDAs expire before considering pre-orders.

Far Cry 3 was amazing and Far Cry 4 sucked. Previous success is no guarantee of a good game. I have been burned so many times I will never ever pre-order again

Farcry 1 was amazing, 2 was meh, 3 was meh, 4 was meh (probably has something to do with the fact that it was a different studio that did 1st and the rest).
My opinion ofc, so dont get too mad.
JC2 was very good over all (some things could be improved, but most was great) so if JC3 is as 2, with better graphics and slightly more polished, it will already be great.
If they add even more good stuff, it can be fantastic.

Pre-Order is ... i cant even define how dumb it is. Pay now, and get your stuff later... its kinda the reverse of a credit card of get it now and pay next month.
So... you are buying something blindly to have it later??????
Not for me, but its a free world (well sort of, its actually not free at all).

Looks good on paper, but the problem would be taxes. Wait until the winner gets the tax for the island...

I would take the $50,000 and pay off all the things I need to get rid of. I would build another system and fix my office the way I need it.

500K island yes, 50K island is a tiny atoll that is submerged half the year.
