Question Pressing certain keys results in unexpected characters or actions ?

Laptop: Asus Zenbook (2 years old).

Hello. i have issues while pressing "P" that it adds a slash before it like this: \p
and when i press ";" it opens a tab.

it started randomly. i tried restarting bios and reinstalling Windows but it still didn't help.

Anyone know why it's doing this ? the is .

Could have been and still may be a driver problem.

Update your post to include full laptop hardware specs and OS information.

Manually download, reinstall, and reconfigure the keyboard drivers.

Run the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Also try "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to find and fix corrupted files.
