Question Pressure setup with front mounted radiator (NZXT Kraken)

Hey guys!

I’m doing my first build soon and couldn’t find an answer to this question anywhere!

So I will be installing the Kraken x62 as an intake (fans -> radiator -> case) so the 2 140mm fans will be pulling through the radiator.

I was wondering if I set up 2 120mm fans as exhaust (top and rear) will this still lead to a positive pressure setup? This is what I’m hoping for to avoid some dust intake.

I just have no clue how much a radiator would impede airflow.

I’ll make note that my case is a Meshify C so there really is not much restriction other than the radiator.

My general rule of thumb is that fans blowing into a rad actually push about 1/2 their CFM through it. The other half splashes off the front.
Also, keep in mind if/what fans are PWM. If your exhaust fans constantly run at 1500rpm but the front ones are PWM between 800-1800rpm the pressure inside the case will vary with fan speed.
