Please read this and help me, cos I'm explaining everything from the start. For starters, here are my parts:
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H
PSU: Corsair CX500
RAM: 8gb G-Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 2400Mhz- Dual channel- 2x4gb sticks
Storage (at the time): 500gb WD Green HDD
Case: Corsair Carbide 88R (crap case; don't ever buy it)
So around 3 months ago I built myself a system for my studies. On an extremely tight budget and less time, I parted everything out and bought it.
Assembled the system, booted and everything was well. Didn't install an OS yet. In the bios it displayed only 4gb out of 8gb of my RAM. Went to the gigabyte service centre, since I assumed it was a mobo dimm slot problem. They said it was the ram, and I RMAd them and sure enough, got 8gb displayed. Then after getting windows and waiting on a network adaptor, my pc suddenly crashed and didn't start again. Once more, I went to the gigabyte service centre, where they showed me that my HDD wasn't being detected. The person who sold me the HDD apparently was selling bad drives to everyone on Amazon. I got a refund, even though this was about a month and a half after ordering the part. After that, I decided to get an m.2 nvme SSD(960 evo 250gb) since earlier I hastily bought a hard drive. This is yet to come in from Amazon's global store. I thought I'd see the bios and check whether every thing was alright (I hadn't checked the pc for over a month now) when suddenly it would start, lights and all, no display, and after 6 seconds, go off and continue doing that. It wouldn't turn off with the power button and I would have to switch off the PSU. I've done a hell lot of troubleshooting, rebuilt the system, removed any storage connections and I still always get no display and the same thing. I then tried to reseat the RAM. With only one stick in the first dimm slot, it works and doesn't stop spinning, my keyboard also lights up(still no display though). It works only with one stick, In the first slot only. This seems like a faulty dimm slot, which also prompted me to go to the service centre the first time (the same slot too). I will enquire about that too, but I still don't get any display on either monitor or TV. I use only hdmi but have experimented with a VGA cable. All cables give the same result: no display, computer turns on. All the cables work btw. So could it be that a faulty dimm slot could interfere with the boot process? Or is it simply because I don't have any storage yet? (Technically it should post) I have also got a pcie network adapter for WiFi recently. I will answer any question anyone has, please ask anything and help me solve my problem!

Just a suggestion, Pull the CPU cooler and the CPU and reinstall the CPU and if the thermal compound is still good as in its not hard and old, you can reinstall the cooler again and see if it boots, Though I'd recommend getting some Thermal paste and replacing it. this is just to see if the problem is the CPU not seated all the way.

Tried it, still no change. No post.

Try another motherboard, if you have one lying around. That both the RAM and the HDD are faulty is kind of shady imo. Not impossible of course, but shady.

If you don't have any, then try removing everything and plugging it again after getting the HDD from amazon. Also please format your post with spaces between paragraphs, it's really hard to read when it's a big block of text.
