Price difference of PSUs between modular and non modular?

I found out the difference of modular and non modular PSUs on the following topic:

However I have a further question that was probably overlooked because the original question was answered. The question is:

Regarding price, will the modular PSU be more expensive than the non modular?

On that topic could you give an example at 500-650W of the price difference between modular and non modular, having all other specifications (as quality or reputation) as similar as possible?

Or perhaps reason as of why would you choose one over another.

All else being equal, modular or semi modular will always cost a bit more than non modular due to the extra assembly man hours and parts. But IMO modular is worth it for best cable management. Whichever you choose, here is a hierarchy chart of sorts to refer to as you price units:
