I've seen reviews that Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX might be the best version of the card, and kept an eye on its pricing now and then. on Amazon, it was $999 and has crept up to $1059.

Earlier this week, after not looking for a couple months, I checked and it was only $699. Wow! I looked for a little while, and that was the price.

I did a little looking and found articles about how Nvidia releases were causing AMD price reductions, and it seemed that was 'the new pricing'

I was thinking of buying, and a couple days later went to look again - it was back up to $1059.
In fact camelcamelcamel says it's never been below $999...

Odd. I should have grabbed one (or more).

Your Q intrigued me, so I did a search. Is this the card?

”Sapphire 11323-02-20G Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Gaming Graphics Card with 20GB GDDR6, AMD RDNA 3 “

It’s offered for sale by Amazon, shipped by Amazon. It’s not the Nitro XTX version, but it is $699 — so what is lost for the $300 less?
