My Primary display is crashing anytime I play a video on Facebook, Reddit, Youtube ect. I have tried to research the cause of this and have come up empty.

I am currently using an Asus R9 280x and I monitor all the temperatures, Usage %, Fan Duty ect. None of which are off the charts in anyway. I also have a 700 watt PSU which is more than enough.

There is no rhyme or reason .. for example I woke up this morning after the computer was in sleep mode for 8 hours and the first video that I watched crashed the monitor ... Then I go and play a solid hour of Battlefield Hardline on Ultra setting then watch a video and it does not crash ..

Any help would be great ...

Here is an attached pic of what it looks like ... I would like to note that I use Duel Displays and my secondary display continues to function just fine when my Primary crashes

The Odd thing is that I have had this for about 2 years and It has only been happening for about 6 months now .. and it seems to be getting progressively worse.

It was happening when I was using a R7970 and persists when using this new R9 280X ....

Really frustrating.... I also have a close friend who has only used a HDTV for a PC Monitor for 5+ years and has NEVER seen this issue .

Yeah that's not the answer ... I can play any game for hours on end with zero problems but a damn youtube video throws it for a loop.

There is some setting thats wrong .. some drivers thats off ... something.

I do appreciate your time.
