Question Prime 95 Showing 1 core at 25%!!

I recently ran Prime 95 on my i5 8600K. Cores are not locked. And the second core consistently ran at 25-30% when the other 5 cores were at 100%. Cooling seemed fine and the overall tests did complete, just later on that specific core. But, why is this happening? I prevously ran the chip with all cores locked at 4.0 and Prime read as all cores at 100%. Do I have a core going bad?? And what does this mean? The chip is only 1 1/2 years old and never really oc'd.

WHAT version of Prime95 are you running?

WHICH of the Prime95 tests, specifically, are you running?

Are you disabling AVX and AVX2 or leaving them enabled?

Are you testing for thermal compliance or for stability purposes?

What exactly are the rest of your hardware specs including CPU cooler, motherboard, memory (Speed, capacity, et. Model of your memory kit would be best), power supply, etc.?
