prime 95

what is a good average temp for running prime 95 on my i7 3770. i have a 79 c on one of my cores after 20 min. my average is 76 c.? i have a dell xps8500 and the heat sink is small with one small fan. should i upgrade my heat sink and or fans?

That's quite hot but not toooo bad. I would get an aftermarket cooler. Just to help a bit.

If your chassis allows get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo. They are cheap and provide good performance.

Anthing near 80 is a bit hot really. 70 is the absolute max I would ever want to see.

Ivy runs pretty hot. So 80 is fine, but yeah, borderline comfortable. LOL. With Ivy I get very nervous above 85...
