Print problem with Edge

Hello,

I have been using Edge for the past few months exclusively. I have a print issue, thought it was the printer. Turns out the Edge interface seems to be the problem. Using Edge, a black box appears with lots of options, if you just print the fonts are too small and using a multifunction printer it switches the paper tray to the photo paper. I have the option of changing the settings but must do it every time I print.

I do not have this problem using Firefox or Chrome which still use the previous printer interface. Canon support says it an Edge issue. However, I did notice a different print menu using Edge on my Dell Desktop compared to my dell laptop, the desktop
Doesn't have the LETTER SIZE option default listed rather it says 4X6. The laptop shows the LETTER SIZE listed automatically. I have attached two photos to compare

Actually if it does work fine in other browsers that only means it's a problem with the Microsoft Edge browser only. 🙁

There's always IE. It's included in Windows 10, but you have to do a search to find it. Once found, you can right-click and pin it to the taskbar and/or the Start button. Personally I use Firefox because I don't like Edge.

thanks, "Internet Explorer has stopped working" Can't deal with that anymore. I will use Firefox also

Deleted all the printer software and drivers completely, reinstalled it all. Problem solved. I guess the glitch occurred during the download and install of windows 10.

As your printing issue there is no problem in your printer or your system. Problems arein drivers. Drivers are the fundamental part of printing or scanning. You need to just install latest printer/scanner drivers for your printer model that get compatible with your Window 10. You can get these drivers from official Canon site. Just install that updated drivers and do printing/scanning test. Hope this solution helps you. If it doesn't work then try other alternative methods from Canon MX922 Msh
