Scenario:
My client has an employee on a Win 10 desktop that connects to their 2008 R2 server over Remote Desktop Sevices using RDP in Win 10.
I purchased an HP Laserjet Pro m402dn printer for my client but it has problems with RDP services according to HP support. I have tried every driver and every google suggestion with no luck.
I have tried contacting both Dell and HP and only get techs. in India that have no idea what I'm talking about. We are sending the printer back since they say they don't suggest it for RDP services.
So can someone please tell me of a lower end laser printer that is DEFINITELY compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services (Easy Print) attached to a Win 10 PC running RDP. Does someone have one in production that is working and has not had any issues. It's unbelievable how Dell and HP can over complicate a simple compatibility question about Easy Print!
