I am running an old dos database program from 1989 that I just don't want to give up. The problem is I just upgraded to W2K from 98se. The options for printing in the program don't give me the option of printing to a network printer. In 98se nothing changed when I set up the print server (lexmark) somehow windows made the change from LPT1 to the network. In W2k is there a way to redirect a file sent to LPT1 to a network print server. I know this is very easy but I have looked at everything and cant find out what to do.

Any help would be great.
Thanks
David

when you set up the printer in win2k it asks you if you want to print from dos-based programs. click that one and i think that's it.

When I set up the printer I did not get this option. I remember it from 98se so I looked but could not find it. Could it be because I am setting up a network print server and not one on LPT1?
