Privacy from network

Hello, my dad recently has gotten into home automation and built a server in our house. he has some system i believe its called something like uni. but I am big about my privacy and don't like that he can see what i am doing. what would the best way for him to not be able to monitor the websites i visit. would tor give me privacy from him?

I am not worried if he sees me trying to be anonymous.

Well, since you live at home, it is his network and his rules. Seems your best bet would be to have a mature conversation with him about what he is doing.

That he has a server does not nevessary means he is snooping on you. But since he is in control of your home network, and has access to the router, he can.
