Private Movie Viewing

Hello,

When you watch a physical DVD or blu ray disc on a blu ray player, is there an internal hardrive on the device which keeps a record of the film you have watched? Basically, what I am wondering is this: Is there ANY WAY to watch a movie in complete privacy, without a record of having watched the film existing and without any prying eyes knowing what you are watching?

No one here can guarantee what the firmware of any device is tracking or not.

A basic dvd/blu ray player does not have a hard drive and therefore cannot store the movie and though I have not heard of it it could be possible that it could store a serial No. of the movie,however if you get a player without WiFi or ethernet connection then it cannot communicate that No. to anywhere else.
So what you need is the cheapest most basic player you can get.
You should also not plug it into a smart tv.
