i have a so called "black screen of death" i can still enter my bios and a coding software called "shell", i have tried restarting, plugging out power checking insides. no problems there. it was working fine til we had a little power outage (i am at a small LAN party and probably too many computers on the same port). i can explain the startup in detail. first my motherboard logo comes up where i can press f11 or del to go inte my bios. and if i wait there for long enoug h i will go into the "blacl screen of death" screen.

If it is a Missing operating system problem that it meanc your computer is unable to locate your operating system.
and computer will be show only black screen.
This usually occurs if you have connected a blank drive in your computer or the BIOS is not detecting the hard drive. It can also occur if the hard disk is damaged or the sector 0 of the hard disk drive has an incorrect master boot record (MBR).
Its can be booting problem follow these steps:
1>Open your computer and press F1, F2, or F3 upon startup to enter the BIOS. The key might be different for each computer according to the manufacturer.
2>Once in the BIOS, navigate to the boot options and select the Hard drive from the list of boot devices and bring it to the top..
3>After selecting the correct boot device, restart your computer and check if you successfully load your Windows.

i fixed it by going to my local technic company which had a place where they repair computers, asked for them to put a new microsoft OS on a usb and then i reinstalled windows.
