So first time builder here, have a xfx Radeon r9 295x2 gpu, Intel I7 4790k cpu, 2 gb ram (will have 16 gb when usps decides to deliver it..) roswill 1200w gold cert psu, krait msi z97s mobo, Samsung 850 pro 256 gb ssd with Windows 7 installed on it, and a Seagate 1 tb hdd.

Anyways after lots of trial and error I finally got the computer and bios to recognize my gpu and install drivers for it from the disc included. Then I was prompted to update the drivers for gpu, (amd catalyst) I did so, decided to run furmark for burn in stress test of gpu. It ran at 222 fps with tempurature at 49 Celsius before the screen started going crazy, like bsod but brown and flickering and halfway offscreen. The computer then tried to reboot, but now it won't make it past Windows logo (just bsod then restarts.) Safe mode won't work, repair conupter won't work, system restore didn't have a point, low resoloution mode won't work either. I get the same result with everything. I ran memory test to see if it was the ram, and didn't get any flags on it.

So I then removed the graphics card, plugged pc into a vga monitor and it's still the same as before. Any ideas in what to do? I've just been having issue after issue with software and hardware so I think maybe when my RAM finally arrives and Windows 8 CD I'll do a clean install and hope it fixes problems

But I am worried I broke something...

Get a real PSU. Well, unless that's a Capstone series Rosewill unit. The rest of the Rosewill power supplies are pretty much crap. What is the model number of that power supply? It's likely it can't meet it's rated power output and that 295x2 demands a very good 1000w unit with 2 8 pin connectors.

Are you overclocking the GPU or the CPU as well?

The MSI Krait edition boards have a pretty bad review history as well.
