Problem finding a network problem

Good morning,

I currently have 2 networks that are supposed to be separate, one for the internet and one for an internal epos system that needs to stay off the internet.

We have a problem that the two networks have been linked somewhere, machines on the Internet network are getting ip addresses from the internal network.

I would say that quite simply, one switch has been connected to another causing the crossover, but these networks span 2 hotels, many rooms and checking all points is going to be a nightmare. Are there any tools anyone can suggest to isolate the problem?

wifi, ethernet? Both on internet?

no. machines?

The Internet network has WiFi access points but they all get dhcp, which is how I know there is an issue as dhcp leases are crossing networks.

Other than that I don't understand you question.

separate using 2 routers (get static IPs from ur ISP)
modem -> switch port #1 -> router 1 (static ip #1) internet access network
-> switch port #2 -> router 2 (static ip #2) epos network

I think you miss the point, it was fine, it now isn't. Getting it setup isn't a problem
