Question Problem in the CPU Fan?

I am stuck in a weird problem. The CPU fan just works fine when I start my PC. But after sometime maybe half an hour the CPU fan runs extremely slow like for example it goes from (RPM 5000 to 150). This is only for the reference because I does not know exact RPM of my CPU fan. Eventually overheating the processor and power down the PC. It happens every time.

check your fan profile, maybe it's corrupted.
also make sure the CPU cooler is plugged into the correct header

You may want to download HWInfo or a similar software, so you can post the real speed of the fan. 5000 RPM sounds unlikely. My CPU fan runs at below 900 RPM at load.
