I have a Lenovo Legion Y570 G50 with an i7@2.2 Ghz., 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SATA hard drive. I just recently upgraded the operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 Pro. The problem is that the installation process gets stuck at the 61% mark. Also, the upgrade process seems to proceed at a turtle's pace! Can anyone give me at least a hint as to what the problem is and how to correct it? Thanks in advance!

You can fabricate the bootable USB installer for your OS using Windows Media Creation Tools and then try and install the OS from scratch, though please be sure to backup any and/or all mission critical data off of the laptop, then make sure the BIOS to your laptop is up to date, then proceed with installing the OS in offline mode.

I must apologize for providing some erroneous informatio! The correct model number is Lenono Y530-15ICH-typr B1FV. The product information page does not proide BIOS update information for this model as clearly as I would like. At this point, I am just about ready to wipe the hard drive using a partition manager utility program, and then follow the previous suggestion of installing Windows 11 in offline mode. If this doesn't work, I may just have to resort to try using a Linux distro! HELP!!

I did what you suggested, and it worked! Thanks!
