problem of flashDrive

My 8gb sandisk flash drive has been working well. I plugged it to my dvd to play a song but it didn't work. Plugged it back to my pc and I get a pop up reading '' usb device attached to the computer has malfunctioned and windows can't recognize it. It doesn't even show In my computer. Please what's the solution??? Its urgent
