Question Problem using Amazon echo

Hi all

I'm not able to use my Huawei Mate 20 Pro phone to get my Amazon echo to connect to my WiFi. It says registration failed.
But if I use my girlfriends Huawei P20 pro phone, it connects fine.

So the first part is connecting to the echo. That's fine. Once connected I then need to get my echo to connect to the WiFi using the app. That's the part I'm having a problem with. I've tried connecting even to a hotspot and it won't. Yet using the P20 it's fine.

Forget the network and try to connect again from scratch.

You might have changed the router settings or configuration, and if a device tries to connect from the previous information, authentication will fail automatically.

I tried resetting it loads of times.
Turns out the problem was that my phone wasn't signed into the Amazon account that bought the echo. My girlfriends was though and that's why it worked on hers

Have her unlink the Echo device from her account. You can then link it to your account on your phone, and you'll be able establish connectivity to your network.
