Hello.

So, when i use my PC last night i sometimes get a signal lost from monitor. The only way to make it works again is restarting it. Then again there is one occassion where after i restart it, my keyboard wont work.

Today, the monitor wont even turn on at all. I test with my old monitor and using another cable and connecting it to my APU instead my VGA, still no success.

My PC's fan still spin, and i can hear my HDD spin too. But it wont send any signal to my PC.

And then i found this. (Cable get burned/melted)

My question is.
1. What cause this?
2. And is it fixable? Or its safer for me to buy a better PSU??

My rig is :
AMD A8-6600k
GTX1050ti 4gb OC ver.
8gb (4x2) ram
MSI A88XM e-35

The PSU if im not mistaken is enlight sniper 450w.

Thanks in advance.

1. Cause of the frying of EPS+12V connector is your crap quality PSU,

2. Yes. Buy a new, good quality PSU.
Here, anything from Seasonic in 500W range will do just fine, e.g M12II-520 EVO, G-550, Focus 550 or Focus+ 550,

Focus and Focus+ are the newest PSU lines from Seasonic and they come with 10 years of OEM warranty. G and M12II EVO series PSUs come with 5 years of OEM warranty.
All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. Full specs with pics in my sig.

You can cheap out on every other component inside the PC except PSU. Since PSU powers everything...

You can cheap out on every other component inside the PC except PSU. Since PSU powers everything, it is the most important component inside the PC. Also, while the PSU warranty covers the PSU itself and you can RMA the blown PSU, the PSU warranty doesn't cover any other component the PSU fried.

Most people learn the hard way not to cheap out on a PSU when low quality PSU blows and takes part of the system or the whole system with it. Even entire houses have been burned down because of the fire low quality PSU caused when it blowed up. So, cross your fingers and hope that your crap quality PSU didn't fry anything else in your PC (though, i wouldn't get your hopes up).

To get a cheap and good PSU, you'll need to buy 2x PSUs; 1st the cheap one and 2nd the good one. Since you already bought cheap PSU and it melted the connector, now is time to buy a good PSU.

Like it or not, if you want your PC to work for years to come without any risk of fire and/or damage to your components, you need to hand out some money for good quality PSU. I'm not talking that you need to go with the best PSU available, e.g Seasonic PRIME Titanium which costs $150+ (and which also powers my Skylake build). Seasonic M12II-520 EVO i linked above costs $56 and is more than enough for your PC, both wattage and build quality wise.
