Problem with a GPU and Motherboard

Hello i would like to ask some help regarding my friend's Dell Optiplex XE2. I came over and tried to help him install my old graphics card but when we installed it we couldnt find the 3pin port on his motherboard so the fans work. Could there be a fix?

What GPU are you talking about?

Also, we don't connect GPU fan cable to the motherboard, we connect it to GPU's board. You may need to remove the cover/heatsink to find it.
