I think it's my graphics card but not totally sure. My GPU is a Asus Tuf Gaming Gefore Rtx 4090 oc edition, Lately my monitors will go black and the gpu fans will go full blast. I checked to make sure everything is plugged in correctly and is secure. Updated my bios, also downloaded other drivers for my motherboard. I updated my graphics card too. It comes and goes could be fine for a day and have no issues other times I just turn my computer on and it happens, or could be watching a movie or playing a game. The temps are about the same since ive put it together in May. This is something thats only recently started but not the only issue I have had with my gpu it's had coil whine from the beginning. Could I have a faulty GPU or something I'm missing?

To isolate the problem to the RTX4090, you could run the system for a while on the AMD inbuilt graphics to test the monitors blacking out and fan speed problems.

Tried this today and monitors will stay on but gpu fans will still kick up to full blast. Guess that narrows it down to being my gpu. Thank you

You could also try using the 4090 and boot into safe mode and see if they black out. If they dont it may be something else causing it.

You can run HWMonitor to see gpu temp and fans. Also download gpu-z to see stats on gpu

Download the latest Nvidia driver, download and use DDU to uninstall your graphics driver in safe mode. After you uninstall your driver and reboot, unplug your network cable and boot into windows. Install the Nvidia driver you downloaded and then plug your network cable back in, this will prevent windows update from going out and trying to get drivers before you have a chance to install the ones you want.
