Question Problem with B450M DS3H V2 Motherboard - No video

Have a new build, and not getting any video to the monitory. Any ideas? Some details below.

I have installed in and tried numerous ways to get it up-and-running with no success.I have it in a minimal configuration now (motherboard, power supply, processor, processor heatsink, processor fan and case fan.When I press the power button, both fans turn on.However, there is absolutely no video from the motherboard.We have removed the motherboard several times to see if we can get video (nothing works).We have tried using both DVI and HDMI monitor connections - neither seem to work. We know both monitors both work (and have tried with other computers using the same cables.- When the board powers up, if we hold the power button down, the power never goes off, but the LED turns red.- The orange light on the motherboard turns on when we power it on.
Using AMD Ryzen 5, 5600G
I don't have the graphics card, memory or anything else plugged in.

No POST. I don't hear a beep. I don't see any video

looks like you have to update the bios but the cpu you have does not work with that motherboard Gigabyte b450m ds3h you have to get a older ryzen cpu

I though I checked this with PC Part Picker for compatibility. It doesn't work with that motherboard? Egads!

You have to put at least one stick of RAM on the motherboard

Yes but you need Bios version F61

Is there a way of updating the bios without buying another processor?

I put in 16GB of RAM, but I still don't see a startup screen. Can I update the BIOS with this processor (or without a processor) for this motherboard?

No with this motherboard you can not update the bios without a compatible working CPU.
Best case , find a computer shop that will do it for a small fee
