Problem with DirectX 11 and GPU???

My son showed me a window that said his GPU doesn't support DX11. H etold me he tried stuff online but it didn't work. He has a GTX 960 and I checked and it's been updated so his GPU is fine I think. He has windows 10 if that helps, and the game he was trying to play was Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Any answers are appreciated!

update: when he clicks on the icon the small little loading screen for the game pops up followed by the window that says directx 11 isn't supported by his GPU
