Hi guys,
I have here an XMG neo 17 GM7Xxxs laptop with i7-10875H, Intel UHD and a Geforce RTX 2070 Super.
Both drivers are installed and both graphics cards are recognized by Windows, see device manager:
Gaming also runs smoothly and without judder.
Windows obviously switches between OnBoard graphics and dedicated graphics card, only when gaming I hear the fan of my RTX 2070.
But:
External screens are not recognized - I would like to gamble on my TV, or at least watch Youtube videos externally via the OnBoard GraKa, but unfortunately that does not work.
I always get the following message (Didnt detect another display):
What I have already tried:
Disable the OnBoard graphics card in the Bios so that ONLY the RTX 2070 is displayed - to rule out that the switching mechanism has a problem.
The latest Windows updates are installed. However, the driver menu from the UHD shows the following, don't know if that is causing the problem:
Have already tried reinstalling the official IntelUHD driver.
Also with disconnected internet connection to prevent Windows from pulling driver by itself.
Did not work either.
Last try was to set the frequency to 60 Hz instead of 240 Hz, also unsuccessful 🙁
What could it be?
It is not the screen or the HDMI cable, they are 100% ok.
I also connected another external monitor to be on the safe side, but it wasn't recognized either.
So it must be somehow on the laptop.... 🙁
Still someone got an idea?
Thanks in advance!!!
