I have a huge problem and I am trying to figure it out for like a month or so.
I have this motherboard - M5A97 LE R2.0 bought fresh new.
When i tried installing windows 7 my installation would crash at finalising installation process and my computer would just freeze nothing would work. So i though there is something wrong with the installation so i tried installing ubuntu but with the same result. it got stuck on the dots and freezed the computer. I have to install them through USB because I dont have a dvdrom.

I figured out how to bypass this problem, i had to unplug every usb device from the motherboard and it would work but after installing ubuntu I had to unplug the usb devices after i start my computer to avoid it to freeze. but when i plug them back in at desktop the computer would freeze after some time anyway. I first though its harddrive problem so i replaced it but the same thing is happening.

I tried doing it with 1 ram chip doesnt work. putting graphic card in different slot didnt work either. im out of ideas.

My graphic card is; Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti Nvidia Graphics Card (1GB GDDR5,
my ram;
HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit

and cpu; AMD FX8320 Black Edition 8 Core (3.5/4.0GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W, Retail Boxed)

Try updating your BIOS to the latest version by searching for BIOS updates on the Manufacturer's website.

Hopefully it's a USB Controller driver incompatibility. You could try searching for USB Controller Driver Updates online for your specific Motherboard make and model number.

I tired installing drivers, updating bios. nothing changed.
Im considering refuding this board because i am tired. but if I do so, do u have any recommendation on the board that can run my setup correctly?

Ensure your HDD is formatted to NTFS. Windows' newer versions won't tolerate FAT partitions.

What Power Supply Unit are you running? Your USB problems might be as a result of a borderline-underpowered PSU. Your setup should have at least a 450w unit. 500w+ if you're running lots of USB, Peripheral devices or HDDs simultaneously.

Here's a step-by-step guide on the installation process of Windows from USB just to double check you haven't missed anything:
