Problem with monitor

Solution

Repairable no. Someone...
LCD assembly looks broken. This could be repaired but definitely not by you or even an ordinary PC technician.

Accidental damage of any kind isn't generally covered by manufacturer warranty.

If you have an extended warranty, contact where you bought it from and discuss with them your options. They will not fix it but rather send it off or give you something else. Again accidental damage generally isn't covered.

If you do not have an extended warranty, you need to contact your display manufacturer and ask them how much repair will cost. I'd also ask them about accidental damage relating to the warranty, it is a long shot but you never know.

How do you think, is display matrix unrepairable?

Repairable no. Someone who works for the manufacturer will have to take the monitor apart and replace the part of the display that is broken (LCD assembly). You have to be specially trained in monitor repair to do this and the only people that are generally work for the manufacturer. Computer shop can not fix it either generally. Contact the monitor manufacturer.

Will that be expensive?

Depends on the display and the manufacturer. You'll need to talk to the manufacturer to get costs. If the repair estimate is high relative to the cost of the monitor, you may wish to upgrade to a new one.
