Question Problem with motherboard.

Hello. My motherboard ASUS P8H61-M LE just died. With new one, my PC's full specs are: motherboard Asus P8B WS, CPU Intel i7 2600 3.40 Ghz, graphic card AMD Radeon 6800 series and got 16 GB DDR3 RAM 1333 Mhz. After changing motherboard my PC has to run in power saving mode set in BIOS, otherwise it will reset at system boot if change to normal mode or higher. But even in power saving mode it will reset if i try to watch YT videos in 720p or higher. Note that before I could run any resolution in any mode. I'm sure it's not system's fault, cause same happens on live boot Linux Mint. Also I don't remember settings from my previous MB, but got photos of new one. The rest of components are also fine, so either something is set wrong or MB is damaged in some way.

If you have to run in power saving mode, wouldn't that lead you to conclude that the problem is related to power. Try to borrow another PSU to test that theory.

Thanks for reply, but like I stated above all other components are fine. PSU is quite new, worked previously without failure, have 650 W which is far more than is needed for my build and motherboard itself doesn't consume that much.

You're welcome. I've learned after many years experience that new things fail and age isn't really that good of a predictor in anything electronic. Your supply may be rated at 650W when it was new, component failures or degradation can lead to the decrease in any components specifications. Think of the men in space that have the best engineering support and yet they are temporarily stuck in space. I just felt that your descripion pointed to power problems. Let us know how this is resolved.

Well, 4 years isn't much for PSU and my components are all the same except new MB. I also used various power calculators and had various outcomes, but even then maximum result hit 352 W. In any case I'll try another PSU if possible.
