Please bear with me im no expert :0)
I recently gave my old logitech cordless mouse to friend.i went round to
install it.unplugged his ps2 mouse plugged the new one into the usb port ant
booted up his pc.Pressed the connect button on the mouse all worked
fine.Installed the drivers for the mouse, still all ok.Check settings etc for
mouse all ok.Re boot pc mouse not working.Go to settings using keyboard and
find that for some reason the old mouse drivers seem to have re-installed
themselves (im assuming this as the mouse properties box shows the old corded
mouse picture and not the one i was used to seeing when i had the
mouse)However if i go to add remove programs it shows the drivers for the new
mouse are installed? Turn pc off reconnect old mouse all is fine?
Please help i dont know how to sort this out the mouse worked fine on my pc
with the same windows (xp) and service pack 2 etc.
Hope this makes sense
Darren
