problem with my computer

Hi, Guys:

I had a problem with win2k pro. I can not open my window explorer now. It comes out a window: explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. I reboot my computer a couple of times. It still comes out like that. Does anyone know why? How can i fix it? Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks for your information. I will try to use the installation disk to repair it. I found i can not open control panel either. Do you think Norton Utility works?

If it doesn't work, you can try booting into Safe Mode and turning off as many of the startup items as you can, both in the Registry and in the Startup Menu.
It could very well be a software conflict.
