Hello guys! So recently I've upgraded my system. So my current specs are.

Gigabyte H8M1-S1 Motherboard
i7 4970k processor
GTX 1060 3GB graphic card
2x 4GB DDR3 RAM

So after the upgrade I've got problem accessing the PC. The system boots up normally and after some amount of time the system freezes up. Nothing can be done except for hard reset. But now the system doesn't boot, but starts beeping in a 27 short beeps periodically. So I cut the power and waited for sometime. Then tried accessing the system. It's boots up normally again and the story keeps repeating i.e it's freezes after sometime followed by system shutting down abruptly and beeping.

The time for the system is inconsistent. Sometimes it's right after the boot and sometimes it's after 15 mins after boot.

Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Edit: Now the situation has worsened. Now the system doesn't boot when i switch it up and immediately starts beeping. So now essentially i cant access my computer even for 10 mins like before.

- Reseat memory modules and GPU
- Verify that your CPU, GPU fans spin.
- Verify all cable connectors : power supply cables at PSU and motherboard and components are snug (disconnect-reconnect if needed), as well as your hard drive connectors at both ends
- Reset Bios to default values.
- Download/ install Hwmonitor and keep an eye on your CPU/GPU temps .
- As mentioned above pleases include your PSU model/ wattage.

I did remove and replace my RAM and graphic card but it didn't help.
i checked the fans and all the 3 fans (1 on CPU and 2 on GPU) are running.
On your advice i did check the connector cable and tried removing and replacing with no luck.
Im a tech noob so could you guide me how to reset bios to default values?
Will try to install Hwmonitor but i don't think it would help as i'm having trouble to keep my system from freezing.
My PSU is Corsair VS550 and its wattage is 550

Chances of that PSU being the fault are high. It's a terrible PSU for any build, and a build of your caliber puts a sizable load on that PSU, further increasing the risks of it going bad. I would strongly suggest getting it replaced ASAP, and you probably shouldn't even try booting anymore since it could just worsen things. Get a good PSU like a Corsair CX450 or CX550 or a SeaSonic S12II 520 W.

So i've done this method and it seems to have worked, as i've been able to access my system for about an hour without any freezing, but the system is terribly slow, can it be because of the old GPU drivers? i'm trying to use DDU to remove all the drivers and install freshly...will it help?

Got it.

Those beep at boot usually involve CPU/Board RAM and expansion card, did you try Clear CMOS ( removal of battery and reseating it? and reseating memory and expansion cards ?)
If not successful means one of those components might be faulty.
