[SOLVED] Problem with old storage devices

So I used to have an older pc that the CPU and motherboard failed... I get a new SSD for it and put a brand spanking new OS on that new SSD. I can obviously use the computer but can only access the SSD with the new OS on it and every time I try to access or get anything about the old drives within the hardware manager it says that there are no bytes in that storage medium and when I go to format the disc it states: request failed due to fatal hardware error? any thoughts on a fix?

1 is a segate baracuda (4T)
other drive is a SanDisk ultra 2 (500GB)

I have received another 4Tb Seagate Baracuda and i think the conclusion is that the two drives in the original pc have also been fried with the CPU and motherboard

Try to run the seatools seagate hardware diagnostic tool.

Currently I don't see any 4TB drives there.
Disk 0 is 500GB,
Disk 1 is 1000GB and
Disk 2 is 1000GB probably (can't realy see that in your screenshots).

And what is that Sabrent device? Some external drive? or what?
Please list model names of all your drives.

this is on my main pc (and not the one with the singe ssd) regardless the drives are nonfunctioning.

problem is that it does not recognize so that tool does not help

And what is that Sabrent device? Some external drive? or what? its an external SATA drive that you can dock things into with its own personal power same problem happens when internally docking it (have also formated the new drive i got today using it)

So the problematic drive (you're having issues with) is seagate 4TB and it is connected via this Sabrent USB/sata enclosure. Correct?
Have you tried connecting the drive directly with sata cables instead? (not via Sabrent device)

Connect the drive directly with sata cables to a desktop pc (not with some usb/sata adapter).
If you still can't use the drive after that, then it is dead.
